Two careers. One conviction.

Inovacure Pharmaceuticals LLP took shape in March 2026, out of a long conversation between a pharmaceutical professional, Mushir Izhar Siddiqui, and a business journalist, Harun Riaz.

Why pharmaceuticals? Because India is rightly called the pharmacy of the world — and because we believe a great deal of that opportunity is still untapped. Not only in the domestic market, but in export in particular.

Mushir brings over 25 years inside the sector, built representing Indian and multinational pharmaceutical companies. Harun brings two decades in business media — the view from the other side of the table, shaped by conversations with business leaders and by travel across four continents.

We won’t point to decades of legacy, because we don’t have them. What we have instead is rarer: a clean sheet, and the discipline to fill it carefully.

Mushir Izhar Siddiqui

Co-Founder · Business Growth

Mushir is a sales and business leadership professional with over 25 years across the pharmaceutical, healthcare, wellness and distribution sectors. He has built a reputation for driving growth, leading high-performing sales organisations, and shaping market-expansion strategies that hold up commercially over time.

He has led regional and national sales operations, established distribution networks, and developed partnerships with hospitals, healthcare institutions, distributors and corporate clients.

His career includes leadership positions at Allergan India, Alcon Laboratories, Sanofi Aventis, Cadila Pharmaceuticals and Softage Information Technology.

He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, and has completed executive leadership and sales-excellence programmes with leading multinational pharmaceutical organisations.

Harun Riaz

Co-Founder · Business Strategy

Harun began in news reporting with the Oman Daily Observer, covering India for the Muscat-based English daily. Eight years of writing put him in the room with political, business, diplomatic and social-sector leaders, and gave him a working read on the Arab and African economies and their evolving ties with India.

In 2005 he launched his own media company, producing specialised magazines on bilateral, multilateral and global affairs. In the two decades since, it has produced more than 350 publications spanning the European Union, Africa, South Asia, Latin America and the Gulf.

Can a media practitioner build a business? Inovacure is his answer. Alongside Mushir, the brief is a simple one: take medicines from India to the world.
